Program Areas
Slippery Falls Scout Ranch offers a wide selection of merit badge opportunities to Scouts
attending summer camp. We are regularly evaluating our merit badge program to bring new
and exciting opportunities that Scouts may not be able to complete elsewhere. Most merit
badges can be completed at camp. However, because of time requirements, special
projects, or other considerations, some merit badges require prerequisites or special
skill levels which necessitates working on the requirements outside of the camp setting.
Available merit badges are listed on this site and in the leader's guide. Merit Badge
descriptions, pre-requisites, and special skills needed are included where available and
will be updated each fall through early March.
Some merit badges are limited in size to ensure safety and quality instruction. These size
limitations are indicated in the merit badge description. These sessions are filled in the
order they are received so register early!
We are constantly looking for skilled instructors of merit badges. If any unit leader
possesses a skill that he would like to teach at camp, please let the camp director know. |
